After School Program Activities

The program activities include free choice time, large and small motor activities, breakfast, lunch and snacks, group and story time, games, rest time, music, dramatics, science, art, sharing, outdoor play, socializing time, and field trips. The children are supervised by qualified staff at all times.


The staff meet several times during the year to go over what is to be included in the children’s curriculum. Parents are welcome to observe or visit at any time.

  • Full Day – 6:15am to 6:00pm

  • Drop-in – Available only if there is space open from absences. You must call ahead for available space.

Breakfast & Snacks - Milk and juice will be provided by KCCCC.

Breakfast foods such as cereal, packaged foods (muffins, roll, pop tarts. etc.), milk and juice along with a plastic bowl and spoon are supplied by KCCCC. Breakfast will be served between 7:30am and 8:00am. Children arriving after 7:50am will not be served breakfast.


Bag lunches are to be provided by the parents. Good nutritious lunches are important for the children. KCCCC is required by State Licensing to monitor the children’s meals. If proper nutritional needs are not met we will be obligated to supply what is missing and a fee of $.75 per item will be assessed on your next tuition statement. Pop and candy are not allowed.

Morning and afternoon snack will be provided by KCCCC. Snacks may include juice or milk, and nutritious treats such as fruit or cheese and crackers. If your child is allergic to any particular snack item, make sure you notify the staff. Children on special diets must have snacks provided by the parents.
